In equivariant dynamical systems we are dealing with equations
of a special form built by fundamental invariants and fundamental
equivariants of a group action. Related to this there are certain
questions such as completeness of invariants/equivariants,
algorithmic construction of them (for finite groups) which can be
attacked by Computer Algebra, especially by using Gröbner bases.
An implementation in Maple is presented. This package can be of help
for the solution of symmetric systems of equations, theoretical studies
in bifurcation theory, and a method which is in equivariant dynamics
called orbit space reduction.
